Here are some images from the wedding of Claire & Alejandro that took place in the heart of London's Chelsea at the The Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer & St. Thomas More. The reception was at 30 Pavilion Road in London's Knightsbridge.
This was an unusual wedding for me in that it was shot in collaboration with a friend of mine, Ben Joseph, who was I'm glad to say on this occasion, leading the line for the day. Well done Ben, it was certainly a crazy adrenalin rush outside the church afterwards but really enjoyable all the same !
This was an experimentation of sorts for both of us as we have been talking about shooting a wedding together for quite some time now and we were curious to see how things would work and if we could come up with something that would really give a more three dimensional aspect to the coverage and ultimately added punch to the photographs.
We are both still very much in the editing stages but I think we both enjoyed the experience, learned a little bit more about the way that we both work and once we have completed post-production we will see where we take it from here.
For all those tecchies out there, all images shot using only three Nikon prime lenses - 24mm F1.4; 50mm F1.4 and 85mm F1.4. Interior images shot mostly at maximum aperture while exterior ones were shot at mostly F2.8. Hope you enjoy...
