This was a commission to shoot a photo exhibition/competition organised by Samsung as part of its promotion of the new Wave II camera phone at the Design Museum on the banks of the river Thames. The entrants themselves were quite an eclectic crowd, the venue was fabulous with amazing views to Tower Bridge and downriver to Canary Wharf and a great evening was had by all...
Well...there had to be one day in August where the sun finally came out and at last it made an appearance at Fran & David's wedding at Penshurst Place. A glorious piece of English summertime sandwiched between eternal grey days beforehand and rain showers in the following days after - what luck !
It's always interesting to see guests arriving, soberly dressed, ready to mingle and excited about the day...and then when you see the same guests at the end of the reception meal having had a real ball and several glasses of champagne later...it's all very different.
